Hi. I'm Neil, the new boy bass player for "Must Ash".

Exposed to typical Zep,Purple,Sabbath,Yes,VDGG,Lizzy,Floyd,Quo,Man,Genesis,Heep,Rory G.

stuff as a long haired scruffy youth , and Wishbone Ash was definitely in the mix there as well.

I'm still a bit scruffy, but definitely not as hairy.

I started my rock performing career as a relatively elderly 41 year old when 2 mates

talked me into playing bass on a 3 song set for a local charity night

( Paul the drummer now plays with The Erics & Roxyrama ).

I can still remember the adrenaline rush and heart rate approaching 200 bpm.

We decided to do it for real as "The Object" a pop/rock covers outfit who lasted

about 3 years with the obligatory change of lineup every 6 months or so,

until various other commitments led to its demise in Aug.2004

Me and 3 work colleagues made a band just for a one-off Dec.2004 xmas party gig ,

and out of that came the beginnings of "Lost The Plot" - a better rehearsed

rock covers band whith whom I did around 50 gigs in & around Leeds.

( played the Woolpack and had to deal with some shady geezer called Stuart ! ).

Parted company with LTP in Oct.2008 to join my other current band -

a Mark III line-up of the slightly off the beaten track rock covers band "Rockadile"

Seen "Must Ash" at the Woolpack, and more recently at Phil's farewell gig,

now busy learning the set, and looking forward to being part of the band.
